Hi Friend! Welcome to my world!
I’m Claudine, and I’m domestically-impaired! I love to talk, shop, write and pray, but not necessarily in that order. I always CHOOSE HOPE. At age forty-five I discovered that I had ADHD. (My friends said I was the last to know.) Life is never quiet when I’m around.
I am a writer, speaker, chaplain and storyteller with a knack for getting into unpredictable situations. My first book, “HELP! I’m Talking and I Can’t SHUT UP!” was published in 2004.
The youngest of two siblings, I was raised in a small Oklahoma town where the best thing to do on Friday night was drag Main Street or drive to the next town to eat pizza. Our school mascot was “The Fighting Hens.”
I married my best friend. We met in Junior High on a church bus headed to Six Flags. Weeks later, our first kiss ended abruptly when we bumped noses. That was traumatic! After that we had a love/hate relationship for years. Now, middle-aged and married for 32 years, we don’t bump noses anymore.
The best thing we ever did was have our son. He is grown and married now (I finally have a girl) and our nest is empty. But he was and is our delight.
I am a Christian. I knew at an early age that I wanted to become a Christ-follower and I have spent my life trying to walk out that faith. I don’t always do it well, but I have loved the journey. There is nothing more fun for me than sharing Jesus. I believe prayer should be as natural as breathing.
I hope you enjoy my blog. I started it believing that there are others, just like me, who struggle with daily tasks and random thinking, yet see the eternal clearly. I post once or twice a week, sharing random thoughts about life, faith and the pursuit of a clean house. Have fun and come back often.
